Mobile Medical Van in Vrindavan Villages

Brijbhoomi Swasthya Seva, Vrindavan

Health Services Started: 27th August 2017

Brijbhoomi Swasthya Seva is a dedicated mobile healthcare initiative by Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society, providing free medical services to underserved villages in and around Vrindavan, the sacred land associated with Lord Krishna.

Key Features & Coverage

  • Villages identified: 128
  • Main centers established: 50
  • Mobile medical vans deployed: Multiple units, each equipped with one M.B.B.S. doctor, one pharmacist, one driver, and a coordinator

Each mobile medical van operates 5 days a week and covers 3 to 4 villages around one main center. All consultations, examinations, and medicines are provided completely free of cost to the beneficiaries.

Daily & Weekly Impact

  • Average patients benefited per day from mobile units: 400
  • Multi-specialty camps: Organized every Sunday at different locations
  • Average patients benefited per Sunday camp: 750+

Specialist and super-specialist doctors volunteer their services from Agra, Vrindavan, Mathura, and Noida during these Sunday camps, offering advanced consultations in various medical fields to the rural and underserved population.

This project bridges the gap in healthcare access in the Braj region by bringing quality medical care directly to remote villages through mobile vans and periodic mega camps, ensuring no one is left behind due to distance or economic constraints.
